Residents may make reservations up to 7 days in advance. Non-Residents may make reservations up to 2 days in advance. No player may have more than one court reservation in the court book at a time. For example, if a player has a reservation for Tuesday, they cannot make or be part of another reservation until after this reservation has been used. This rule applies whether the player makes the reservation or is listed as a participant. Players may make as many reservations as they like provided that they have only one at a time.
Reservations need to be made in advance by calling the tennis center. Unfortunately we are not able to take reservations on our voice mail or by email, since we cannot be certain courts are available. The Pro Shop can be reached at 817-421-5605.
Court fees are due at the time the reservation is made. You are welcome to put your credit card on file, put a balance on your account to use for court fees, or pay at the time of the reservation.
The person making the reservation must pay for the entire court unless other arrangements have been made. There is a minimum charge of $8.00 to use a credit card at STC.
We ask that you provide us with the name of all the players who will be on your court so that we can charge the correct court fees.
In the case of inclement weather court fees will be refunded to the customer’s account to be used at a future date.
Players must be at least 16 years old or have an adult accompany them during play in order to rent a court.
There are two additional lighted courts located in Bicentennial Park under the water tower. These courts are available on a first come, first serve basis for one hour of play. The tennis center reserves the right to use these courts Monday-Friday from 8 am – 1 pm if necessary to provide additional courts for league play.
Courts 16-18 are open to the general public during the hours the tennis center is not open. These courts will be opened by the tennis center staff at the close of business every day. Access to these courts is through a gate on the back side of the tennis center. Courts are on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
As a courtesy to other players, these courts may be used for 1 hour when other players are waiting. The lights will automatically turn off at 11:00 pm when Bicentennial Park closes.
The lights are operated by a push button located on the fence just outside the courts. A flashing light will turn on when the timer is due to expire. If the lights were on prior to close, they will turn off when the tennis center is closed for the evening. The lights on the court will take approximately 10-15 minutes to come back on.
These courts may remain closed when the tennis center is using them for a major event the following morning or when there is inclement weather and play would be unsafe. There are no squeegees on these courts due to previous theft of these items.
Ball Machine
We are currently not renting the ball machine at this time.
The tennis center has a Playmate ball machine that can be rented for $20.00 per hour in addition to court fees. The minimum amount of time the machine can be rented is one hour. Players must be at least 16 years old to rent the ball machine. A parent/guardian must be on court at all times if junior players are using the ball machine.
