Membership FAQs

Is Southlake Tennis Center open to the public?
Yes. Southlake Tennis Center is a city-owned public tennis facility in Southlake, TX. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join, reserve courts, and participate in programs.

Residency in Southlake is determined by payment of Southlake residential property taxes. Members may not use business addresses or post office boxes to establish residency.

Yes. Guests may play one time before providing required membership information. Additional visits require membership.

Court Reservation FAQs

How do I reserve a tennis court at Southlake Tennis Center?

Court reservations at Southlake Tennis Center in Southlake, TX are made by phone only. To check availability or reserve a court, call (817) 421-5605 during business hours.

No. Online court reservations are not available at this time because court availability can change throughout the day.
Southlake residents may reserve courts up to 7 days in advance. Non-residents may reserve courts up to 2 days in advance.

Please have the names of all players ready when booking. Players may have no more than one court reservation at a time in the court book.

Outdoor court fees are $4 per player for Southlake residents and $5 per player for non-residents. Indoor courts include an additional indoor court fee.

Yes. All players must check in at the front desk before heading to the courts.

Does Southlake Tennis Center have indoor courts?

Yes. STC has 2 indoor climate-controlled courts available for year-round play in Southlake, TX.

Indoor courts can be booked through the Pro Shop by calling (817) 421-5605.

Indoor court reservations are for 1.5 hours of court time.

Indoor courts require an additional $30 indoor court fee, plus regular per-player court fees.

Yes. All players attending must be listed when the indoor court reservation is made.
No. Once indoor courts are booked, cancellations cannot be accepted.

Cancellation & Payment FAQs

What is the cancellation policy for outdoor courts?

Outdoor court reservations, private lessons, and drills require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation.

Indoor court reservations cannot be canceled once they are booked.
Players are required to pre-pay for court fees, drills, leagues, and special events. Payment must be arranged before players proceed to the courts.
If players have been charged for a canceled activity that follows the cancellation policy, they will receive an account credit.
Our junior program is runs during the school year. After Session 1, we auto-enroll students into our classes. Parents will have a week to withdraw from the classes without penalty. Once classes start, we are unable to cancel registration or provide refunds.

Facility FAQs

What amenities does STC offer?
STC offers 17 outdoor hard courts, 2 indoor climate-controlled courts, a full-service pro shop, racquet stringing, demo racquets, locker rooms, a club room, and water and ice stations.
Players must wear tennis attire, including shoes with non-marking soles. Shirts that cover the mid drift are required at all times.
No. Personal ball machines and outside court equipment are not permitted.
No. Only Southlake Tennis Center team members and authorized instructors may provide lessons or training at the facility.

Weather & Safety FAQs

What happens during bad weather?
Hours, programs, and court availability may change due to weather. Youth programming generally follows CISD weather closures, while adult programming continues unless STC notifies players.

When the lightning alarm sounds, all players must leave outdoor spaces immediately. Play may resume only after the all-clear sounds.

Players who bring service animals will need to answer the following questions: (1) Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
