Code of Conduct

Southlake Tennis Center is a public tennis facility that serves players of all ages and skill levels through lessons, leagues, drills, tournaments, junior programs, and special events. To help maintain a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment, all players, spectators, and guests are expected to follow STC facility rules and show courtesy to others at all times.

STC follows the guidelines outlined in USTA Friend at Court for rules, regulations, and standards of play. Players are expected to compete fairly, respect opponents, follow court etiquette, and refrain from behavior that distracts or disrupts other players, spectators, staff, or facility activities.

Player Expectations

All guests are expected to:

  • Check in at the Front Desk before going to the courts.
  • Show courtesy and respect to players, spectators, staff, and guests.
  • Wear appropriate tennis attire while using the facility.
  • Wear non-marking tennis shoes on the courts.
  • Wear a shirt at all times.
  • Refrain from abusive, profane, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.
  • Follow directions from STC Team Members.
  • Use headphones when playing music unless approved by the Front Desk.
  • Report any injuries or safety concerns to a Team Member immediately.

Facility Rules

To protect the courts, equipment, and guest experience, players may not bring personal ball machines, remove court equipment, misuse facility property, solicit on the premises, or conduct unauthorized coaching or instruction. Pets are not permitted, except approved active service animals. Smoking, vaping, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, glass containers, gambling, loitering, and panhandling are prohibited on STC property.

Southlake Tennis Center Team Members reserve the right to remove any guest who violates facility rules or behaves in a way that affects the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of others. Repeated or serious violations may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the facility.
