What to Bring

All players should bring a water bottle or jug and a tennis racquet. Players should wear athletic shorts, a skirt, or leggings with pockets to hold tennis balls, along with tennis court shoes with non-marking soles.

Tennis racquets, junior clothing, and tennis shoes are available in the STC Pro Shop.

Registration Details

Class Size, Make-Ups, and Membership

Middle School/JV Tennis classes are limited to 8 players per instructor so players receive focused coaching during drills and match play. Because space is limited, make-ups are only available when STC cancels a class.

Tournament Opportunities

Southlake Tennis Center is a skill-based program focused on age-appropriate development. Players are assessed by skill level and moved based on their ability to demonstrate the skills needed to play and compete.

Players interested in competitive play beyond Match Day can explore USTA-sanctioned tournaments available for their level. STC teaching staff can help recommend appropriate tournament levels based on each player’s development.
