STC Adult Leagues

STC offers in-house leagues for men and women with sign-ups four times a year. Each league session lasts for 7 to 9 weeks. Sign up for STC league play begins about 4 weeks prior to the start of the season.  Players can sign up online, or at the Pro Shop Desk.  We have different formats, from progressive leagues to set partner, divided into levels for competitive match play.  Questions about league play can be sent to leagues@southlaketennis.com

Summer Leagues 2026

Summer 2026 Leagues will start the week of June 1 and continue for 8 weeks, skipping the week of June 29-July 3. The last date of play is August 9.

Sign up by May 22 or until the league is full. All weather make-ups will take place at the end of the session. Women’s leagues are $84.00 per player, which includes court fees and balls.  Men’s leagues are priced by season. Please note that we are unable to refund players for league fees after May 22. 

Players are required to have the minimum rating of the league (with match play experience) to participate.

Players are responsible for either showing up each week or finding a player who is of similar ability to sub. The tennis center does not find subs for players, with the exception of Progressive Doubles Leagues. 

We reserve the right to move players or ask players to stop participating if their play impedes the enjoyment of other players. This includes players who are not playing at the correct level, players who no-show or attempt to forfeit a match, and players who behave in a way that violates our Code of Conduct.

NEW! USTA Flex Singles Leagues at STC 

 Flex Leagues are designed around your schedule! Each week you will be paired up with a different player or team. Your league fee includes balls and court fees at STC, so you just need to make a reservation and play. There are three different leagues: women’s singles, men’s singles and mixed doubles.  

Joining is easy! Download the USTA Flex app (download link: iOS or Android), search for “Southlake”, select your preferred league(s), and hit the join button. Leagues start the week in early June and continue for 8 weeks. 

Women’s Leagues

Round Robin Doubles 

Players sign up as individuals and play one set with each of the three other players on the court.  Players play with different people each week.  The format is one set to nine games, regular scoring. 

Women’s 2.0-3.0 Round Robin Doubles | Thursdays, 7:00 pm

Set Partner Doubles

Players sign up as a team and play one other team each week.  The format is two sets, regular scoring, and a 10-point tiebreaker.  The tiebreaker is played regardless of who has won the first two sets.

Where 2 levels are listed, A is the higher league. Both players must be rated at this level to play in the A division.

Women’s 3.5A and 3.5B Set Partner | Wednesdays 7:00 pm

Progressive Doubles

Each player plays one 9 game set with each of the other three players on the court.  The player with the most points earned move up a court, the players with the least points moves down. 

Please note that STC will find a sub for players are unable to play provided we receive 24 hours notice.

Men’s Leagues

25-3.0 | 3.5-4.0 Progressive Doubles

Each player plays one 12 game set with each of the other three players on the court.  The player with the most points earned move up a court, the players with the least points moves down. This league is played continuously throughout the year, so players can join at any time and be prorated into the current session. (Two separate divisions)
