Covid-19 Facility Guidelines
The Southlake Tennis Center will be open as of Monday, May 18, 2020. We look forward to welcoming our players again! We are very proud of our facility and want players to enjoy coming out. We will continue to review our policies and procedures to provide a healthy environment for our players and our staff. In order to meet new federal, state and USTA regulations, we share the following guidelines:
FACILITY HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Our staff will wear masks inside the building for their protection and yours.
- There is an acrylic barrier at the front desk for health reasons.
- We have hand sanitizer at the entry to the tennis center, in the Pro Shop and out on the courts.
- The teaching pros will wear a mask and/or gloves upon student request during lessons.
- Enhanced cleaning will take place throughout the day.
- The locker rooms will be sanitized every evening by a professional cleaning service.
- All doors and counters will be disinfected as necessary.
- Our new operating hours are:
- Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
PRO SHOP
- Please observe social distancing of at least 6 feet while at the Southlake Tennis Center.
- We request that everyone wear a mask while inside the building.
- Please follow the arrows and dots on the floor to enter and exit the pro shop.
- There is a maximum of no more than six people in the Pro Shop at a time.
- Only one person may use the restroom (except for parent/child) at a time.
- The showers and lockers are currently not available.
- The Club Room will remain closed until further notice.
- We are unable to accept cash for payment of any services or court rentals. There is a $10.00 minimum for credit card charges in the Pro Shop.
- The Pro Shop is open for contactless purchases. All sales are final.
COURT RESERVATIONS
- Court reservations need to be made in advance. We cannot accommodate “drop-in” reservations. Please call the Pro Shop at 817-421-5605 during business hours to make a reservation.
- Southlake residents may reserve courts up to 7 days in advance. Non-residents may reserve courts 2 days in advance.
- There is a maximum of 4 players per court.
- The person making the court reservation must prepay for all court fees for all players on their court at the time of the reservation.
- The person making the reservation must provide the name of all the players on the court at the time of the reservation. Once the reservation has been made the names cannot change.
- Once a reservation has been made it cannot be cancelled unless the courts are unplayable. Court fees are non-refundable unless there is rain.
RESERVATION GUIDELINES
- Court reservations are for up to 110 minutes. Players must vacate the court 10 minutes prior to the hour/half hour.
- Players may arrive up to 10 minutes prior to their assigned time, but no earlier.
- Each player must have one can of balls that can be easily identified during play. Players cannot share balls. We suggest using different brands of balls.
- Players need to bring their own water jugs and water.
- Players must be 16 years old to rent a court without a parent.
- We ask that players do not congregate before, during or after play.

ON COURT GUIDELINES
- The court gates have been permanently opened.
- There are no trash cans on the court. Please do not leave anything on the court once you are done. All balls must be removed from the court after play.
- Please avoid using the benches. Players are welcome to bring their own chairs.
- Please leave your equipment in one corner of the court.
- Please do not switch sides during sets but switch after each set.
- We ask that players do not congregate before, during or after play.

LESSONS
- Lessons are either 55 minutes or 85 minutes long. Players should vacate the court 5 minutes prior to the hour or half hour.
- There is a maximum of 4:1 student/pro ratio during lessons.
- Lessons must be paid for 24 hours in advance. Lessons that are booked within 24 hours must play at the time of reservation.
- All players in a lesson must be registered in advance at the time the lesson is booked.
- Players will be assigned a specific ball hopper for ball pick up. The hopper will be sanitized prior to each lesson.
- Players who would like to work on their serve should bring their own balls for use during the lesson. These balls must be clearly marked.
RACQUET SERVICES
- Racquet stringing is available. You will be asked to wipe down your racquet before stringing.
- Demo racquets are available. Players will be required to purchase a new over-grip prior to use and to remove it prior to returning it.
- There are no loaner racquets for children during lessons or classes.
DECK AND GROUNDS
- Please avoid congregating on the deck, in front of the facility,, or on the grounds.
- Please do not use the bleachers.
- Furniture has been moved to create social distancing spaces. Please do not move the tables/chairs on the deck.
- Please do not leave any trash on the grounds.
INDOOR COURTS
- The indoor courts will open Monday, May 25.
- Courts can be reserved for 110 minutes. Players are required to leave the court 10 minutes before the hour or half hour.
- There are no benches or trash cans available.
- Please use the handicapped push buttons to open the doors.
